Wed. night CLI honored Linda as founder and director up until her retirement last year. There were a couple of nice speeches about Linda and her speech was very good and funny. CLI also honored four model class room teachers with the first of an annual award. A number of funders were present and hopefully moved to make additional contributions.
The other day Linda was calling Verizon for service and when she clicked on the ring tone button on the computer as requested, she got an ad for a free video of hot stripping girls. Linda was also talking to a computer printer service person who was located in Calcutta. He said the temperature there was 120 degrees but didn't find it oppressive.
Recently we did a laundry that included a red table cloth that had been washed once or twice before. The red dye bled over everything that was white or tan. Now I have some bright pink underwear.
Linda doesn't go out in this heat but I haven't had a problem. Our 44th anniversary is coming up on July 4 which at the time of my wedding I was calling Dependence Day. We are planning on going to a restaurant with Rachel and Dave where we expect to be led to the roof to be able to watch the fireworks. On "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Larry was renewing his wedding vows after 10 years. Larry wanted to say "Til death do us part," but Cheryl wanted "For all eternity." Larry said he wanted to preserve his options.
