Alternative Treatments

Things have been pretty good with my long lag between chemos, eating a lot and outputting a lot and doing a reasonable amount of walking.  Next chemo is Monday.  Amos has been keeping me on edge at times, especially overnight, as not waking to change a bag can lead to unpleasant results.
I played a little step ball yesterday but wasn't very good.
We went to a book talk last night by a guy whose wife has recovered from an alternative cancer treatment - Gerson system - and supposedly the guy's uncle also recovered (in 1952) from the same treatment.  Gerson uses an extensive fruit juice system and some kind of coffee enemas that the author combined with a macro biotic diet which is pretty vegetarian.  Because this process has never received FDA approval, the clinic is located in Mexico.  We keep coming up with articles and info on new treatments (a new vaccine).  We'll ask Littman about some of these on Monday.  It still looks like Jefferson is among the leading cancer research hospitals.
Tonight we have tickets for a comedy show, an annual spoof of the news.
I read that the former chief Vatican exorcist called yoga a tool of the devil because it can encourage the false belief in reincarnation and can lead to evil just like reading Harry Potter.  It's good to know we have such brilliant scholars looking out for us.
   Take care.
