Hopkins visit today

My A team and I had a good visit to Hopkins today and are closer to earning our MPC degree (Masters of Pancreatic Cancer.)  We first saw Joe Herman, Melissa's friend, who was a strong advocate of a GTX protocol for which Hopkins and Columbia Presbyterian have had a lot of success.  We then saw Dr. Luis Diaz, who Joe said was an aggressive oncologist.  Diaz explained a new protocol called ICM which stands for three different treatments, two of which have had some success by themselves with pan can and which Columbia also promotes.  This would be a stage one and two procedure.  Diaz alternatively supported the GTX.  In a messag from Joe tonight, he said ICM might be best.  We expect to see my GP Dr. Wynne tomorrow afternoon and speak with Joe Herman tomorrow night.  Kind of amazing that with all these complicated medical possibilities, we are the ones who will make the decision.  On Thursday, I see Dr. Yeo and should have my staples removed and we'll see if he has any opinion on these procedures.
